  • Working with a multilateral development bank, I co-chaired a national technical working group that helped shape a country's first Community Health Policy and its implementation plan, later securing millions in co-financing to support its rollout.
  • Working with an international NGO, I led the design and delivery of a PEPFAR-funded HIV prevention program that reached 453,000 key and vulnerable people in a single year — including 76,000 adolescent girls and young women — with 70% successfully linked to care.
  • In collaboration with a UN agency, my technical advisory work led to the endorsement of standardized Essential Equipment Lists for primary healthcare facilities by the national Ministry of Health, paving the way for the equipping of 158 facilities across four provinces.need to succeed.

  • Working with an international NGO focused on medicines access, my contribution to business case and investment analysis supported securing a voluntary sub-license from a pharmaceutical company, expanding access to a leukemia treatment for 105,000 additional people annually.
  • In partnership with an academic institution, I developed tailored climate-impact modeling and investment cases that contributed to integrating climate risk into smallholder farmers' agricultural insurance products for the country's largest agro-insurer.
  • While working with a bilateral government donor, I led an impact analysis of COVID-19's effect on uptake of routine maternal and child health services, using the findings to adapt existing health investments to sustain service continuity during the pandemic.

Training and Capacity Building

Innovative Health Financing & Resource Mobilization

Innovative Health Financing & Resource Mobilization

  • At a multilateral development bank, I developed and rolled out Public Financial Management training across four provinces, embedding it into provincial planning and reporting processes to strengthen fiscal accountability.
  • While working with a government and international NGO, I adapted WHO materials on HIV Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis to the local context, and provided training to Trainer of Trainers, trainers and lay-counselors. The training was later adopted into the national curriculum.
  • At a multilateral development bank, I co-chaired a national technical working group on Village Health Assistants alongside government counterparts, helping shape the country's community health policy and its implementation plan — laying the groundwork for a standardized, sustainable training and deployment model for frontline community health workers.

  • At a multilateral development bank, I led the design and rollout of a Results-Based Financing component, helping increase disbursement of a major investment project from 3% over two years to 11% within just 18 months — accelerating procurement and unlocking USD 4.8 million in performance-based funding at both national and subnational levels.
  • While working with a bilateral government donor, I developed and applied a new impact framework for a multi-donor Health Basket Fund (USD 52 million), tying disbursements to impact and health outcomes for the first time — shifting the fund from input-based to results-based financing.
  • At a multilateral development bank, I leveraged catalytic government funding to mobilize an additional USD 6 million in co-financing commitments from bilateral and multilateral donors, securing the first year of implementation for a newly approved national Community Health Policy.
